Northern Virginia Regional Group 2nd Annual Poker Run April 12, 2003
Daffodils, jonquils and wisteria in bloom, a bright sunny spring day, a great meal and V-8 friends. What more could you ask for?
Just before departing the 1763 Inn. A few folks had to leave early to make other commitments but it's still a pretty sight to see cars of this caliber out on the road.
Another view of the same group. That's Leo Cummings huuuuuge Pontiac Bonneville at the far end right next to Don Lombard's '57 Ford Convertible. You can see that open cars are popular in the Northern Virginia Regional Group.
A pair of '41s, a pair of '51s, a '53 and a '36 are ready to hit the open road towards home. All cars ran beautifully in the cool spring weather, no one experience any sort of mechanical malfunction, and everybody agreed that this was a perfect way to shake off the winter doldrums.
