The Northern Virginia Regional Group used a significant part of the proceeds fro the Eastern National Meet to acquire and donate a fully restored and operational 1940 V-8 60 horsepower engine to the Early Ford V-8 Foundation. The engine was meticulously restored by NVRG member Ray Kunsman. Foundation President Bill Tindall was on hand to greet Meet registrants with an information display about the Foundation's building fund. At the Awards Banquet he happily accepted the keys to the donated engine.
